I'm starting this blog to share some thoughts on creating a blissful life.
According to Miriam-Webster's definition,
Main Entry: bliss
Pronunciation: \ˈblis\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English blisse, from Old English bliss; akin to Old English blīthe blithe
Date: before 12th century
Hmm... so further clarification of the definition of complete (yeah, right - don't we all know this word? -- humor me, please)
Main Entry: 1com·plete
Pronunciation: \kəm-ˈplēt\
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): com·plet·er; com·plet·est
Etymology: Middle English complet, from Latin completus, from past participle of complēre
Date: 14th century

2 : brought to an end : concluded
3 : highly proficient
4 a : fully carried out : thorough renovation> b : total, absolute c of a football pass : legally caught

I'm going with definition 1 or 3 of complete.
Which would make MY definition of bliss:
"having all the necessary elements of happiness OR highly proficient in happiness."
Many who know me may agree that I often have a smile on my face and am usually focused on the positive.
So for now... that's what this will be.
I've created a 90 day challenge for myself: to make sure I incorporate the following four into every day: fitness, food (healthy/ good), fun and financial savvy. Let's see how it goes! :-)
Day 1: here's how I fared:
Fitness: great class at equinox - intensati by patricia moreno.
Food: eat fairly lean & healthy and restocked my supplies at trader joe's to begin some good 'ole home cookin'!
Fun: my workout was alot of fun today as well as just enjoying a Tuesday that I didn't go to work.
Financially Savvy: I made some good decisions, taking public transportation and buying groceries rather than going out. (I live in Manhattan, so this is actually an accomplishment.)
I feel like that's a fair start.
